These books will be incorporated into my classroom library for students to read either on their own or when I suggest them for a specific reason. I will also use these books during our social-emotional class lessons. The fidgets will be available to choose for the class period or to keep with them throughout the day. Learning how to self-regulate their emotions will help my students better focus on their learning while they are in school. My hope is these skills will transfer to their home lives and they will be able to manage their emotions in all settings.
