These materials will provide students the opportunity to learn and practice relaxation and coping skills to manage symptoms of anxiety, stress, and anger. These symptoms are often barriers to learning. Research tells us that when experiencing feelings of anxiety, stress and anger etc., we are not functioning in the part of the brain that is needed to learn. Through this project, students will participate in exercises and activities to learn to regulate their emotions. When emotions are managed, students will be able to organize their thoughts so that learning is more successful.

About my class
