My students, like your own, are spread over the map for levels of achievement. Some are placed in the Kindergarten range, some in the 6th grade range, and most are somewhere in between. For this project I am asking that we as a community think about where these students can be, not where they currently are. I want to create a more equitable classroom, giving each student exactly what they need to succeed, instead of only giving them what I have. To expand their access to math and science curriculum is to encourage future mathematicians, scientists, astronauts, doctors, and researchers to reach their full potential. Almost nothing on this list is a consumable product (save for the band-aids), which is intentional. These games, supplies, and resources will be used for years, if not generations, to come.
