Students will engage with materials in small groups and individually when they are having difficulty navigating through strong emotions throughout the school day. The tools and strategies students learn to use with these materials can be used at home, in the grocery store, or at the laundromat as they internalize coping and calming strategies! Some examples include stretching, yoga poses, finding a quiet place to calm oneself, and squeezing soft toys. These materials will make a difference in young students' lives because they will use them to work through difficult emotions and be ready to rejoin their friends for interactive activities and learning.
