This project gives Room 13 students real life experience with earning and spending money. The students will earn money by completing tasks and keeping track of what the teacher owes them weekly. On pay day, they will bring their earning cards up and be paid what they are due. (Fake money only) The following week they can take their earnings to the Student Store where they can shop for items they have been saving for. The Student store will be run by students who have proven their proficiency by passing a quiz on counting money and giving change. This project will teach all my students the value of earning money, saving money, and how to count money and give correct change.
