These manipulatives will be used in the classroom almost daily and occasionally at home. I have noticed that the kids enjoy using hands-on materials when it comes to learning. The materials I have asked for are the ones used in our everyday math lessons or writing lessons. The blocks will allow for them to count up or down from higher numbers as well as be able to show the difference between two groups. We are continuously growing in our knowledge. Writing is another area that we focus on. We are just learning the basics for writing sentences as well as sounding out words. I would be able to make a center with the materials requested which will help my students in everyday writing lessons.
