These materials will provide students with a story that encompasses many standards we have learned in third grade. Hands-on science, math, and STEM activities have been created, by myself, solely off this book! Students will create multiple mini-projects that compliment the story, from beginning to end. Project-based learning opportunities will allow students to not only read the story, but personally bring it to life! Collaboration and creativity will be two driving forces as students embark in a class literature study! My students have previously shown their playfulness with literature. Now, we will take an already loved story and embed learning for all students interests and hobbies!
