Dry erase whiteboards are needed to engage my students daily during whole class lessons. I love to use different color markers to make learning more engaging. I use words, numbers and drawings to engage and help my students learn. For example; when teaching students about fractions I always draw pictures to illustrate the fraction. I use words to model my thinking. All of these teaching strategies are effective in helping my students to understand the concept they are trying to learn. The students will use the whiteboards to show and explain their thinking to their classmates and me. As you can probably imagine they love to share their thinking on a whiteboard! Also, the whiteboards will be used to post homework, as well as upcoming assignments and projects and the due dates.
