These materials will give students tools that they use everyday that I often run out of. They also will allow each student to have there own calculator for classroom use so that they can practice using it for any high stakes test that they will take for algebra 1. The colorful supplies such as markers, colored pencils and whiteboard markers will help students access concepts that can be abstract and difficult to understand. Finally the patty paper helps the students achieve a greater understanding of how geometric transformations are created.
