I want my students to be able to draw on our white board tables, and use calculators without using their chromebooks to eliminate the distractions of technology. I think we learn math best by writing things down and making mistakes. Currently, using chromebooks is causing distractions and challenges during class time. If we were able to eliminate the use of technology sometimes, the students could focus on the content by making mistakes and trying different equations in math class. I think if students had the opportunity to draw on the table, they would learn how to experiment with math more.
