I like to incorporate videos and music during my lessons so students can see and hear what they are learning about through technology. I believe that watching and listening to videos and music enhances skills. Students are more engaged and focused. Research shows, that videos allows for more effective processing and memory recall. In my classroom, we have a projector that plays sound, but even on the highest volume setting the classroom is not filled with enough sound. The students located in the front of the classroom can hear efficiently, but the students located in the back can not hear properly. This leads to my students loosing and being distracted. With a new speaker, my student can finally experience the auditory effect of the educational video and music playing in my classroom.
