The Bongo Drums will be for our lessons on Latin percussion and will be used alongside a set of congas. Boomwhackers and hand bells are a great tool to develop students' sense of pitch and scale. They also allow for practicing ensemble coordination and music reading skills. The strings are to be used with our newly donated class set of ukuleles, as well as a set of guitars I have been able to gather together for our classroom. Learning to play an instrument like the guitar or ukulele can change a child's life. In our classroom we will be using our instruments as tools for social emotional learning and will be working on writing songs on them that expressed our emotions and feelings.
