I have requested for STEM activities so that I can provide students with hands on opportunities to enhance learning. I would like my students to enjoy numerous activities in our math class including STEM independent activities. I would like to start doing stations in my class once a week in which we can break away from "textbook learning" and be able to "Think Outside the Box" with different STEM activities. In addition to the stem activities, I would also like to focus on displaying student work to motivate them to strive for excellence. Students love to be phrased for the work they do! I would like to be able to do this by printing projects we complete in color and showcasing the best samples in our class. This will also encourage students to complete their projects to their best abilities which will maximize student learning.
