My students learn using different modalities, like tactile. These products will help them be able to learn in different ways. My students often have sensory issues. Someone with sensory issues interprets sensory messages to the brain and body with challenges. They may respond differently to that sensory input because their senses receives the messages differently compared to someone that does not have sensory processing issues. These products encourage active play, creativity, and fun for our students in the Sensory Area. The resources we are requesting include sensory play materials and sensory learning materials. Some of the items that I have requested like Sensory Play Materials , Liquid Floor Tiles, Match-A-Sound Phonemic Awareness Boxes and Giant Sight Sound Tubes will help will help reduce anxiety as well as help establish an all around better learning environment.
