My students were distance learning during COVID and we have ongoing quarantines in our community that affects many of them. While learning at home, they don't have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in real-world projects. Acquiring additional tools will give my students greater access to the application of their learning in real-world projects. Currently, we share and take turns with our tools because we don't have enough of them. Specifically, we are focusing on Nevada standard CCR.SL.1. We are preparing students for their future careers and need to give them hands-on experience communicating with project managers from the community and demonstrating their knowledge using tools.
