My ICT 5th-grade classroom is more than just a classroom, we are a family. What my kiddos love, I learn to love also. Our class consists of both typical children and those with special needs. I love to find out what my students are interested in each year and embed that into our curriculum and activities. This year my kiddos are extremely into technology, Anime, Manga, graphic novels, and Harry Potter. We really enjoy writing and illustrating our own stories and we even began learning about digital illustrating. This generous gift will help us be able to combine our love for technology and graphic novels by allowing us to use our illustrations made digitally and add them to our written word. The Epson ECOTANK is a special printer that uses liquid ink rather than ink cartridges, which allows for MANY more pages to be printed at MUCH less of a cost. We hope to use the Epson ECOTANK to help us create a book of short stories and poems with our beautiful hand-drawn and digitally created images to accompany them.
