The donations to this project will support my students' learning by providing them with high interest, kid-friendly, non-fiction texts. Third graders are very inquisitive and for most students have discovered that they are reading to learn (k-2 was learning to read). They are curious about the world and how things work. This donation will help students build knowledge, spark conversations and overall immerse them in real-world content. I plan to use this resource to support reading skills, and build vocabulary. Students will be able to explore new topics, and discover new interests, and at the same time build content vocabulary, use text features, and practice skills to support understanding of the texts.
