All of my students are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It isn't uncommon for children with Autism to struggle with sensory processing. Providing sensory input for my students is a large part of our school day. I have students who seek light input, weight input, sound input, and textile input. By helping me provide sensory items for my classroom, you will be helping students feel safe and comfortable in our classroom. When a student is not overstimulated by their senses it is easier for them to learn and process what is going on in the environment around them. Help me make my classroom as sensory-friendly as possible!
