My 1st grade classroom currently has 25 energetic, ambitious, wonderful students! Despite having to remove unnecessary furniture, I still want to give my students the option to move around the room to work and have more choices than the floor or their table spot. I also want to provide opportunities for my students that need to be able to fidget while they are at their spot to do so with minimal distraction to their peers. The flexible seating options will provide opportunities for my students to engage their core into a holding position which has been shown to improve focus and attention. With donations I will be able to purchase the necessary flexible seating options for my students.
