These communication devices will allow students to express theirs, wants, likes dislikes, or communicate their needs such as being thirsty, hungry, or if they need to use the bathroom. These devices are the beginning of any kind of communication for children with special needs. They may not be able to recall a word but when provided with a picture plus the voice output it will help decrease frustration when an adult does not understand what they want or need. These devices can even let me and other staff members know their current emotions. These devices can give children a voice to express a choice between activities, food items, different toys, different emotions. These devices provide them with options to communicate.
