Play therapy helps students improve communication and problem-solving skills by building models to externalize thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Through play children are able to cope with difficult situations. Even if they weren’t able to talk about their feelings, they would act out a lot of their inner emotions while playing. Play therapy is used to help children with all sorts of things — like improving their mobility, developing social skills, and training their attention. By donating to this project you will help students be able to self-regulate their emotions so they are able to return back to class and continue their school day.

About my class
