If this project is funded it will allow me to create calm down kits for students as well as help create a calm down corner for my office. I run several groups in which we talk about how to calm down and emotionally regulate. Many of the supplies will be used in the kits. The kits can be used either at home or at school. The games and books will be used to help students regulate their emotions when they meet with me. I am trying to also build a more inclusive book selection to help all students no matter their diverse backgrounds.
