During Covid, our campus, like many others shut down and transitioned to virtual learning. Students were out of the classroom and participated in mostly online learning. The absence of in-person instruction was detrimental to student progress and development. Now that students are back in the classroom, there is a learning deficit (the COVID slide), especially for students with disabilities. My students are desperately in need of tools to help them re-engage in the learning process. Students on the Autism spectrum especially need tools that are efficient and easy to use. When technology does not work as it should, my students easily become agitated and want to give up. New technology will help close the gap for my students by providing easy access to engaging online activities that support reading, writing, and math.

About my class
