My students are part of a brand new technology class that will prepare them to be future engineers, computer programmers and so much more. By incorporating Code & Go Robot Mouse into our classroom instruction, students will be able to understand the fundamentals of coding through exploration and debugging. Students will be able to program their robot mouse to travel through different mazes in search of cheese. Students will also be able to challenge themselves by creating obstacle courses for their mouse to follow and applying their understanding of programming to make sure their mouse successfully follows their code. By incorporating Code & Go Robot Mouse, students will also be able to see real world applications of coding and see how coding can take place in unplugged ways. By using Code & Go Robot Mouse in Kindergarten through Second Grade, students will then have a better understanding of programming languages such as Scratch, Python, and Java in the future.
