Third grade is a critical year for reading! I believe it is important to grow a love of reading, and the skill will come. These books will encourage and develop a love of reading regardless of reading level. By having books in our classroom, students will always have something available to read. No trip to the library is needed! Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are. These books are going to be the start of a love of reading I hope to instill in many 3rd graders to come! Interest-based chapter books are so important!
