Students will have easy access to a variety of books to read during Reading Intervention. In my class, students spend time reading on their level and then connect to the text in creative ways. This project will provide much needed books to keep in my classroom so that I have materials for a wide range of readers. A book in hand will set the students up for success. The modeling clay, paint sticks, and rainbow papers will be used to have the students share something about what they read. For example, they could build the main character with modeling clay or they could recreate the setting with paint sticks. I want to encourage my leaders to continue on their path of meeting and exceeding expectations. These books and materials would make a huge difference for our school.
