My students enjoy building, whether they are building letters, number, robots, or creating new shelters for their animal critters and these STEM manipulatives will do just that allow them to build a foundation for future academic success. STEM is our future; our young kids are coming to school curious about how the world works. In my classroom, we want to build a connection between school and the world. Through interactive centers, students will make connections as to how a community works, how vehicles transport goods, how an animal creates a shelter. I want my students to use their curiosity to help them understand how science, technology, engineering and math are all part of their everyday life.
