When the children create, they like to use a variety of materials, mixing paint, glue, and 3D supplies like pom poms and clay. The children get to explore how to manipulate the different materials and create their art on their own. They learn their emotions through creating, and work through how they are feeling while creating. When children have an outlet to express themselves, they are able to understand why they are feeling the way that they are in a healthy way, and with enough materials they don't have to worry about bargaining over materials. In the end, they are able to show off and celebrate what they created, and extend it through observing what shapes they used, and writing a story about their art. Through art, they learn all the different areas of learning.
