The picture books I’m requesting will provide me opportunities to share stories that create a positive class climate and culture where all students feel accepted, valued, and can thrive. The variety of fiction and non fiction chapter books from a diverse group of authors will provide students more choice and expand their independent reading experiences. My students just love when I introduce new books to our class library. I cherish their enthusiasm when they get hooked on new authors and book series and share this with me and their classmates.

About my class
