Engaging students after COVID is difficult, especially as a first year teacher. Now I know these materials may seem a little odd; however, it's hard being a first year teacher and funding my classroom to start out. I want my students to love learning; as a first year teacher, this is my number one priority. I want to make learning fun and collaborative. These materials will help my students engage in their learning, and make our classroom a safe space for our creativity and differences. The amount of students with different abilities in my classroom ranges and these materials will help highlight their differences in a positive way. Whether it be having seating that is flexible to focus better or being able to use markers in order to draw what they are thinking to help them write about it, these materials will help my students in many ways.
