These materials will provide my 10 students, who have varying disabilities, an area to get different sensory needs and return to class. My students need frequent sensory breaks to have a successful day learning. Currently, my students do not have many options to help them get their sensory input or output. The weighted blanket will provide pressure to students who benefit from that sensory input. The headphones will allow for students to either listen to music or tune out a sound when they are overstimulated. Some of my students enjoy building with different things to reset and will enjoy the Magna-tiles.
