Imagine a musical that has a script written by students! That's right, Room 13's 4th graders have written their very own play script based on a novel that we read in class: "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane." The students read the book, analyzed the themes, and then wrote the script together. They then held auditions and casting, and are now rehearsing the play to perform for our families and the other students. These creative 9 and 10 year olds are extremely proud of their work! By using microphones for the performances, we can ensure that every student's voice is loud enough. This gift will also enable our class to continue writing plays and musicals in the future. We are so excited to perform this play, and we hope that you will help them by providing them with a microphone set so that every student's voice can be heard, loud and clear!
