Helping children develop their emotional intelligence is imperative to happiness, success and growth over their lifetime! It is the foundational building block to making supportive and beneficial relationships in all walks of life from friendships to community involvement and later on healthy romantic relationships. These books explore feelings, emotions, life skills and actions to take to become successful citizens for the future. Diving into these series, children will learn vocabulary and communication skills to be able to divulge exactly how they are feeling! They will learn how to be feelings detectives to explore the different signs their bodies exhibit when they experience different emotions. This will help them develop their own coping strategies to get back to being calm and ready to learn. The Life Skills and Take Action books help develop many different areas around being part of a community and taking responsibility for their own behavior and learning. Ultimately, we want to send our children out into the world with all the skills they need to be happy and successful on whatever path they choose. Please help me support my in person and online third, fourth and fifth graders in developing these necessary skills before they head off to middle school and beyond!
