Currently, the students have to use their personal cameras for their projects like the YHS Homecoming and Winterfest videos, photography and editing lessons, and sport highlight tapes. Not only is this unfair to the students to have to risk their personal equipment, but not all students have the opportunity or resources to own professional-grade equipment that we need. The funds here will open up the door for more of our video editing students as they will no longer have to share one or two cameras at a time. Their productivity will rise, their learning opportunities will grow and more learning can take place for more students at once. This purchase would be vital to my class, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have or provide any more information you may need.
