These materials will help the students learn frame to frame traditional paper animation. Students will be able to create simple animations to get a feel and understanding of how animation was done back before animation was moved into the digital age. Students will be able to create flipbooks using the light tables by being able to see the drawing of the previous paper, for their ball bounce project or animating the faces of their character project and using the Twelve Principles of Animation to achieve the "Disney" animation effect. Students will be given a look into what it takes to be an animator and what type of jobs the animation field hold and the direction they should proceed to pursue it as a hobby or professionally if they do so later on in life.
