Currently my learners are assessed medically, have health screenings done, and when they need to rest or be monitored; they lay on old stacked OT mats. I would love to have an actual medical exam table to be able to offer my learners in their time of need; whether they are feeling sick or just need a safe spot for an emotional time out. A School Nurse's office should be a place that is warm and inviting, provides comfort and tranquility, and be professional looking in appearance. A place where learners feel safe to confide their medical, emotional, and personal problems.
