As the school nurse, I want to provide the best care possible to our students. If I can help in the clinic, then send them back to their classroom rather than home, they get more learning time and fewer absences. We have just the bare essentials at the moment, band-aids mostly, and need more supplies and refills on what we've used up since school started. The things we're requesting, medicine cups, first aid cream, children's acetaminophen, prep pads, tape, etc. will allow me to provide the best care and service to each student to help them feel better, reduce their stress, support their mental health and allow them to get on with their day.
