I am Mr. Miranda. I am a 7th grade Science Teacher. I started my 3rd year Teaching at Molasky J.H. I made my move from a charter school because I wanted something different. I wanted to work for Clark County because they needed help and I think most of the schools in my area had students who needed someone who cares about the children and their future. One of the big differences in the two districts is that when you ask for something at a charter school they would bring it to you or they had a room you can go and use it. All of the things I am purchasing will help me bring the kind of environment I am used to working in and the type of environment I believe these students need. The majority of the small things I ordered are regular supplies. Tape dispensers, staplers, markers, color Pencils, posters. I believe in a clean classroom. I like to sweep before my lunch and after school. I wanted the trash pickers to pick up trash during class time when I am walking around monitoring kids. The bigger items I ordered are a cricut. I ordered things for my bulletin boards or signs for my whiteboard. I also wanted to use that for stickers that I can put around my class and possibly make some for my students as rewards. I also added a game buzzer system. At the charter school I worked at, I had regular buzzards. I used to play family feud or jeopardy games. That worked out really well and helped improve test scores when I used questions that would be on
