"Miss B., the paper is falling down again!" Currently, the anchor charts in my classroom are either hanging on the closet doors or folded and put aside. I use chart paper almost daily, to improve the quality of my lessons and to engage my students in their learning. As a new teacher, I do not have a good place in my room to keep these anchor charts. Typically, they would be hung on an easel, in which you can flip to the page that you want to display for the lesson. This keeps the anchor charts neat, organized, and easily accessible for students to view. Not only will having this easel make my classroom more organized, but it will also have a positive affect on my students' learning experience. Having a designated place for our anchor charts will provide more structure and routine to my instruction and classroom environment. It will also free up some space on my closet doors, in which I can display other helpful charts or student work. This easel will impact my students' learning in a very positive way.
