These special items will be able to support the students' learning in and out of the classroom. The magazines(Scholastic and Time) will help them to be able to bring reading home for homework so they will have resources at home as well. The lesson will be previewed in class during whole group on our Smartboard then can finish up. The magazines will be share with their families to help them get involved our learning. We will use the alternate sitting to help them get their energy out and maintain focus. The rolling card is for vocabulary and mapping out stories when we are sitting on the floor for hands on learning. The tiles and pattern blocks are for cozy corners to help group them when they are feeling disregulated! These materials will give my students reading opportunities they currently do not have as my school does not have updated curriculum. The headphones will be a center for listening to stories and individual learning. My students do not have the resources to provide these for the classroom. These materials will give them experiences they are not getting or had in the school. These items will increase reading skills and growth academically. I would love the gift card to teacher pays teachers to increase my curriculum in the class in order to provide fun and educational resources. My goal for these products is to enhance their learning environment and give them exciting and fun learning experiences. Most of my students are significantly behind in reading and my goal is to help them become available to learn and be able to improve their skills in a fun manner.
