The art curriculum includes opportunities for students to gain skills that empower their artistic voices and provide authentic experiences related to careers in visual art. Printmaking is an exciting process in the school art studio and a viable medium for an art career. Students will take ownership in designing and creating screen prints for display and advocacy. Students will create original designs, make screens using Scratch-Art-Mask-Ease, and print their work using Speedball screen frames. Prints will be displayed in our school and community and will be available for sale. The proceeds will be used to provide more studio experiences. Limited budgets can limit opportunities. Support for this project extends learning opportunities.
