My class loves reading and these new books will allow them to continue growing and their love for books and learning. Many of my kids take books home with them so they can read because they do not have access to quality reading material. I want them to continue enjoying independent reading time so I have chosen all of these books with each student in mind and have specifically chosen a book for each one of my students. Students will be able to choose books they want to read, which will help progress and become stronger readers. I have also chosen some picture books so we can continue doing story time. Even in 6th grade, my kids LOVE story time and gathering around so I can read to them. These new books will allow me to continue doing that with them! With this new classroom library, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books they love instead of reading the same ones over and over!
