This will allow students to learn how plants work and grow. This was requested by a handful of students that wanted to grow a garden and learn the science behind gardening. They will have the opportunity to learn the science behind plants and why they work. Meanwhile students will have the ability to see how their understanding comes to fruition. Students will have the ability to learn while getting to get their hands dirty as they grow a garden at the school. The product of this afterschool program will allow student to have fresh produce, an understanding of gardening, and how to cook the produce.

About my class
