These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that we have yet to create (due to the lack of print books for our students). Our classroom has a limited library, and our school library does not have these books due to lack of district funding. Receiving these books will help us as their teachers to push forward our curriculum when our students return from winter break. With this class set, not only will my students benefit from this, but the entire senior class here at RSJ (est. 2019). This class set will allow our students to read as a whole, and independently at home. This book will also expose our students to literature that they've never seen before. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
