My students are visual, kinesthetic, and tactile learners. The sensory rings, floor squares, and bounce balls will help my students regulate their bodies and emotions so that they can focus on their academic and functional work skills. Many of my students need frequent sensory breaks throughout the day, so having these materials available is very important for their minds and body. The literacy materials have manipulatives that they can use at individual workstations and centers. The materials and the manipulatives that are provided can be utilized across disciplines such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. These items will support my students' engagement, ability to participate independently and increase their experiences during literacy.
