Even though my students have been back at school for almost three months, some of them have not been in a typical classroom setting since March 2020. My students need to get up and move around, but this is not always suitable for all learners in a classroom setting. Providing a flexible seating option for students will help increase their time spent engaging with their classwork. Materials like wobble discs can be used at student desks during whole class activities, or move with students as they shift into small groups. Beanbag chairs and pillows will transform our classroom reading nook and give students a comfortable place to read.
