These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because they will be able to focus and work independently. In my classroom, we utilize several online assessments and platforms that require students to listen to audio. The assessments include Lexia, a targeted intervention reading program, and EPIC, an online reading library. On EPIC, students can select books that read aloud to them at their varying reading levels. The headphones will help students work towards being successful in reaching their academic goals. In addition, the headphones will also silence background noises or distractions.
