Tablets will allow my students to carry their device and use them around the classroom as well as using them in different classes in the school (ie special area). Laptops are difficult for my students to use due to the use of a mouse pad built into the computer as well as the multiple different components that makes laptops hard to use for younger students. Ipads will allow students to engage in apps that will provide them with instant input and feedback. Students will be able to use apps that further their educational learning in a fun and motivating way. Students are excited to use ipads as they are familiar with them from their home environment. Students will be able to use apps like iMovie which will allow students to create videos. This helps cater to different learning styles, adding a fun element to the educational environment.
