These materials will allow my students to create working solar and electrical powered machines such as a fan, car and plane. Students' understanding of systems as a set of parts that work together for a specific purpose, will be greatly enhanced with these hands-on projects. They have experienced systems in our science program using books and online simulators. However, using this kit, they will have an exciting opportunity to feel like real systems engineers, building and testing the simple machines. This learning experience will create self-confidence and open new doors to what they can accomplish!
