I have told my students to bring their pencils and paper a lot of times. However, there are a few students per class who always don't have a pencil, therefore, I want to provide these basic classroom supplies for them so that they don't need to worry about it. Many of my students have a hard time at home or their families can not provide them with these basic classroom supplies. There are no Chinese communities near our school, many of my students don't know about China or the Chinese language and culture. Those books will help them to learn more about the language and culture. Most importantly, these books can inspire and motivate my students to learn.
